Desiree Dubon & Michael Letter

Michael Letter first spotted Desiree Dubon in the gym while she was training for a climbing expedition. To his disappointment, at the time, she was taken. As fate would have it, they started dating four years later.
Having always dreamt of a summer wedding, Michael and Desiree met at the altar in June surrounded by their wedding party that included a bevy of seven bridesmaids and seven flower girls. Vows were exchanged to the harmonies of an orchestra, a tenor and a soprano. After a 1960 white Rolls-Royce Phantom whisked away the newlyweds, the guests joined them at the exotic Mandarin Oriental hotel in Brickell Key to celebrate. Coral Gables-based wedding planner Lourdes Milian Productions ensured that every detail throughout the event was spectacular. Members of the wedding party joined the bride and groom in the Emperor Waltz as well as the Latin rhythms of Marlow Rosado and La Riqueña. DJ Claudio had guests dancing well into the night.
WHAT WE LEARNED
“It’s a special time, so don’t forget to have fun and enjoy every moment,” Desiree says.
The couple took a three-week adventure to visit the vineyards of Napa Valley, the waterfalls of Kauai and the majesty of Alaska. They rounded out their trip with a visit to the lush Butchart Gardens in British Columbia.
